E - Meter
This small but useful instrument displays
total voltage, amp-hour consumption while motoring, incremented
amp hours while charging, and amperage sent to batteries while
regenerating. It’s of great value in setting the most
efficient motor speed for regenerative motor sailing. By monitoring
the e-meter, you can adjust motor speed to make net energy
use from motoring vs. regeneration end up as zero, positive
or negative.
