Selected STI Motor Repower Replacements
STI electric drives generally replace conventional diesel auxiliaries with three to four times their nominal horsepower rating, i.e., a 12 hp ST 74 electric drive can replace a 36 to 48 hp conventional diesel auxiliary. But in some cases our motors have replaced diesel engines with over five times their nominal horsepower rating.

The following table highlights a few of our repower conversions, showing a wide variety of models, styles and sizes of boats and the STI propulsion system that was specified for them. Ask the Solomon Technologies sales team or your STI authorized dealer/installer for assistance in recommending the right STI system for your boat design and your cruising preferences.
